It was really nice of the Lord to make the statement right away in Genesis that we are made in his image. My problem is; I keep wanting to make him into my image. When I see him in my image he has a short temper rather than being patient and kind. When he is in my image he doesn’t know what to do to rectify a situation, rather than being the almighty with perfect wisdom. In my image, he can’t be trusted rather than being the only one that can be trusted. The bible says when we see him we will be like him. I want to see him in his image not mine.
